I switched from Canon to Olympus, so I must be crazy.
But all my life I didn't trust the majority opinions.
Yes they are some test which can prove this camera has mor or less noise, it can test the speed and so on. But there is also many other variables you can never test. And people are mostly like sheeps, following the leader and betting on the winner. If that was not the truth people in US would long ago vote for someone else then The 2 corupted parties.
It goes as far as creating a feel of status" If you do not have Canon, you are not serius photographer".
And people and majority also likes to use the word "never". Even thou they could look up in history how many times they said "never" and were proven wrong again and again, they will keep saying "never" like their life depended on it. Maybe it is because most of us tend to be religious and it is easier to believe then to question , ask and open our eyes.
They said Soviet Union would never fall, they said Roman empire will never fall, they said we will never be able to go faster then 30 miles an hour and so on. Maybe Canon should not fall asleep?
