PL3+OM/m43 adapter + om 50mm f1.8 problem !..

Hi,
I have OM/m43 adapter + Olympus OM 50mm F1.8 lens. When i plug this lens my camera after opening my camera on LCD screen i see darkness ! Menu options etc visible. When i try P,A,S,M modes result is same ! I try factory reset my camera too. I try focus setting is "Manual" nothing change. My problem stay again. Is PL3 without lens show any blurred or not good picture on LCD and this style taking photo possible? i was try take out 14-42 R II lens after this open my camera i saw darkness on LCD. Is this normal or my cam have a problem ?

And the other side. With adapter om/m43+OM 50mm F1.8 when i turn my camera light source or dark i see shutter speed is changed lower or higher numbers !..

Sorry, but is English your native native language? Because I'm reading your post third time and don't know what are you trying to achieve. What do you mean "after opening my camera"? Turn it on? Open the body? Are you trying to take photos using analogue lens attached through m43 adapter or something else?

Yesterday i talk with Olympus PL service. They told me this is mainboard problem & i send my PL3 today. If your Olympus pen without lens nothing show in LCD screen than this is big problem, it need a service repair. Olympus Polska told me without guarantee repairing price 720 zloty !.. Please check your pen serie camera without lens, open & try take a photo ! It could be.

Open the body? Are you trying to take photos using analogue lens attached through m43 adapter or something else?
I try writing detailed. After opening my camera : Turn it on (they are same action). Yes, i trying using analogue lens. But i learn from another Pen users pen series cameras without lens must be show scene on LCD screen. My PL3 doesn't show anything without. Because of this theme is not analogue lens or OM/m43 adapter. Anybody try(check) on camera this action ? Without lens try taking photo ? Is is possible ?

Yes, you are "lucky". Your grammar is worse than mine ;) Anyway, if ANYTHING has to be fixed by Olympus Service in a body like E-PL3 (non-pro), price is always the same. I doesn't matter if you drop it and broke LCD screen or shutter doesn't work properly. 720,- PLN ? Strange, take a look here:

By the way, if the cost of repair is really 720,- PLN, it would be cheaper (or same price) to buy a new one - used, new or refurbished and sell you camera that has a malfunction.
