PMA report 2009 - Digital camera highlights : First thing I noticed at the start of the PMA 2009 show, was the absence of the DSLR this year. Only Olympus with the E-620 (http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/21671/lasvegas-photos/) and Panasonic with its LUMIX GH1 (http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/21656/panasonic-lumix-gh1-review/) as Micro Four Thirds system camera, play a role and that is quite striking indeed. The PMA 2009 show focused on compact cameras, or better said: the features of a compact camera. However, it doesn't mean that this year is over just yet, in fact; the year has only just started and with several important events coming up in 2010 (for example the Olympic Winter Games) we can still expect more this year. In addition, there is also the Micro Four Thirds system with which Olympus has to come out in the open.
