Photo Ninja is computationally intensive and memory intensive. That said, it runs well on recent-generation dual-core processors with at least 4 gigabytes of memory. (8 gigabytes is recommended, particularly if you are running other applications at the same time.) On quad-core, 8-core, and 12-core machines, it will use all available cores for filter operations; the speedup is noticeable. It will also benefit from additional RAM if you have it. A solid-state drive (SSD) can improve performance compared to a conventional hard disk.
